Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting, repeatedly brought for discussion the subject on nourishment in education institutions. The move comes, after decision-makers have found out that the situation did not radically change in this respect, and five cases of food infection with entero-colitis were recorded at a Chisinau-based kindergarten, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
“I signed an instruction on the creation of a working group, led by Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega, and my request is that we come out with a deeper analysis till next week. We can find excuses and justifications each time; yet, the reality tells about irregularities in the system. It is very important that we do our utmost, so that such things do not repeat in the long run,” the prime minister said.
Thus, the group due to be set up will identify the persons guilty of the infringements discovered and will submit concrete proposals on changing the legal framework regulating this field.
It is worth mentioning that, following controls carried out at an instruction by the PM, the National Food Safety Agency, Education Ministry and the public health service at the Health Ministry reported on the findings of an analysis carried out, on nourishment in education institutions, with criminal fines opened.
