Parliament takes note of Moldovan president-elect's resignation from MP office

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ – The Parliament took note of the resignation of President-elect Igor Dodon today.

At the same time, the Legislative declared vacant a parliamentary mandate from the Socialists’ party (PSRM). According to the Member of Parliament candidates list of PSRM, vacancy will be filled by head of PSRM territorial organization, Riscani sector, Irina Mizdrenco.

Two days ago, the Constitutional Court validated the results of the presidential elections. So, the inauguration of President-elect, Igor Dodon, has to be held on 23 December at 13.00, at the Palace of the Republic, where will be held a solemn common meeting of the Parliament and Constitutional Court.
