Moldovan top court validates two MP seats

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court validated mandates of two MPs on 20 December.
It is about candidate on the list of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Irina Mizdrenco and candidate on the list of the Liberal Democratic Party Simion Grisciuc. According to the electoral list of the Liberal Democrats for the 2014 parliamentary elections, it was stipulated that the vacancy should be taken by former minister of youth and sport Loretta Handrabura, but she refused the position.
The two MP seats remained vacant following the resignation of PSRM lawmaker Igor Dodon and the legal cessation of the status of MP of former premier Vlad Filat.
New MP Irina Mizdrenco is the head of the PSRM territorial organization in Riscani, and Simion Grisciuc has earlier served as a lawmaker, and since May 2015 he works as director of Tutun-CTC company.
