EU disburses sums meant for budget support programmes in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Finance Ministry has received a sum of 45.3 million euros; the money was transferred within the agreements on financing signed between Moldova and the European Union in the last four years.
The Finance Ministry’s press service has said that, given that the conditions of the policies’ matrixes on budget support were fulfilled, disbursements were made for four programmes. Thus, 10.5 million euros of the overall sum is meant for the support programme to carry out the vocational education reform and 12 million euros is envisaged for economic stimulation in the rural sector. The sums for both programmes represent the disbursements which should have been carried out in 2015.
Also, 5.8 million euros was disbursed to cover the programme on reforms of the public money policy reforms. Another 17 million euros is meant for the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD).
