Moldovan parliament speaker conveys condolences to families of people dead in Berlin attack

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu today laid flowers at the Embassy of Germany in Moldova, as a token of sympathy and solidarity with the German nation and the families of the people dead in the Berlin attack, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The speaker stood silent for one minute and put down a message in the book of condolence opened in the memory of the victims.
“Moldova’s authorities and citizens condemn and regret all acts of aggression which result in losses of human lives and which have nothing in common with the human values. We are united in the fight against terrorism and express compassion and support to the families of the dead,” the parliament speaker said.
Also, in the beginning of the today’s parliament meeting, the MPs stood silent for one minute in the memory of the casualties.
