More flights cancelled because of heavy fog in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - More flights today were cancelled because of the heavy fog fallen on the Chisinau International Airport.

The airport’s information service has told MOLDPRES that, because of the bad weather conditions, the flights to Milan, Munich, Istanbul and Bucharest were cancelled and the ones to Paris, Verona and Roma are delayed.

At the same time, there are delays of several hours in the landing of planes flying from Bologna, London, Moscow and Vienna, and the flights bound for Munich, Milan, Bucharest and Warsaw were annulled. At the same time, a flight from Moscow and another from London were redirected.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the fog might be kept till today evening.
