Moldovan PM conveys condolences to Russia on plane crash

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip has conveyed a message of condolences to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, in connection with the 25 December plane crash, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
In his message, the premier expressed deep grief about the plane crash in the Black Sea, which has killed 92 people, including: soldiers, journalists, civic activists and members of the Alexandrov choir.
“In moments of so dramatic events, we cannot remain indifferent. On behalf of the government, I express sincere condolences and support to families and relatives of victims. We share the grief of all those who have suffered in this tragedy,” the message also reads.
The TU-154 military plane had departed on Sunday morning from Sochi city, Russia, to Syria. It crashed shortly after takeoff in the Black Sea.
