Photo exhibition dedicated to Moldovan army inaugurated in Chisinau

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition of photos titled „Militar 100 la sută” (Military 100 per cent), dedicated to the National Army, was inaugurated at the Chisinau-based Military Culture and History Centre.
The exhibition comprises 100 photos. made by warrant officer adjutant Vitalie Iovu and senior lieutenant Dmitri Vosimeric from the military media centre.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, photo-reporter Vitalie Iovu said that the pictures displayed showed the daily life of National Army servicemen – military exercises, trainings, missions in peacekeeping operations, etc.
For his part, Dmitri Vosimeric said that the exhibition was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the National Army’s foundation. “We tried to present the military just as they are in service, bring them closer to people, the civil society,” Dmitri Vosimeric said.
According to the head of the military media centre, colonel Ion Vulpe, these pictures represent just a small part of the rich archive of the subdivision he leads.
Attending the event, film-maker and master photographer Pavel Balan highly appreciated this exhibition, stressing that it presented “expressive pictures, made enthusiastically, with artist’s eyes.”
The exhibition will be opened during one month.
