Special committee to conduct delimiting of Cricova winery goods included in Moldova’s cultural heritage

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ – A commission which was created by a decision approved by the Government will conduct additional delineation of objects of cultural and national heritage of Moldova being part of Cricova Winery complex. The document aims quarry galleries, underground structures, including tasting rooms, adjacent terrains and geographical landscape, inventory of land building and collection wines.
Cricova winery was recognized in 2004 part of the national cultural heritage of Moldova. Meanwhile, there were carried out measures to modernize company infrastructure for development of wine tourism. In this situation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry considers it appropriate that the objectives relating respectively to be included in the national cultural heritage "Cricova".
These actions, according to the Ministry, "will ensure further development of the complex, will attract tourists from abroad, will enhance local and national budget revenues and, ultimately, will enhance the image of Moldova as a wine producing country".
The list drawn up by the specialists will be submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture later, so that to move these goods in the public domain and registration in the national cultural heritage of the complex "Combinatul de vinuri Cricova" (Cricova winery).
