Moldovan president, Transnistrian leader discuss up-to-date problems of citizens from both banks of Dniester

Chisinau, 4 January /MOLDPRES/ – President Igor Dodon, discussed today with the Transnistrian leader, Vadim Krasnoselsky, the current problems of citizens on both sides of the Dniester river.
Head of state, Igor Dodon, stated in a briefing that the visit purpose was to establish contacts with the new leadership of the Transnistrian region and collaboration mechanism in solving problems faced by citizens.
"Mr. Krasnoselsky specified subjects which interested Transnistrian side, I refer to recognition of diplomas, registration of transport vehicles and telephone connection. At the same time, we also discussed some subjects, such as: solving the problem of farmlands situated beyond the road, problem of schools in Transnistria and admission into the region of some officials of the country. Similarly, there will rake place a few meetings at the level of experts within the next few weeks, so that within a month to be drafted an action plan," said Igor Dodon.
Also, the head of state said, that "he is confident that in the upcoming months, inhabitants of both banks of the Dniester will feel the beneficial changes on common interest themes".
The previous visit of the President of Moldova in Transnistria was made by Vladimir Voronin in 2008.
