Moldovan foreign minister congratulates Romanian counterpart on appointment to office

Chisinau, 5 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur has submitted a congratulatory message to his Romanian counterpart Teodor-Viorel Melescanu on his appointment to the office of Romania’s foreign minister, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.  

In his message, Galbur emphasized, in particular, the special importance Moldova was attaching to the further strengthening of the cooperation and strategic partnership relations with Romania. Appreciating the rich political and diplomatic experience, including the one gained in capacity of head of the Romanian diplomacy, Teodor Melescanu has earlier held, Andrei Galbur expressed confidence that the Romanian minister would bring a valuable contribution to continuing the ascendant dynamic recorded in the relations between the two countries on the last period.
