Bus with Moldovan citizens blocked due to snowfall on way to Brasov

Chisinau, 6 January /MOLDPRES/- The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that today a bus with Moldovan citizens driving on the route Chisinau-Brasov was blocked 5 km from Ramnicu Sarat town, Romania, due to bad weather conditions.

MAEIE’s information and media relations service noted that the Moldovan Embassy in Bucharest got in touch with the Romanian competent authorities and was informed that the Moldovan citizens are provided with accommodation in Cristina pension, Ramnicu Sarat.

The situation is monitored by the Moldovan diplomatic mission in Bucharest.

The ministry warns the Moldovans intending to travel to Romania be vigilant in bad weather conditions and danger of snow avalanches in mountainous areas.
