Moldovan foreign minister has phone conversation with Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today had a phone conversation with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
Galbur congratulated Melescanu on appointment wishing him success in the work.
The two officials exchanged opinions about the perspectives for developing the Moldovan-Romanian relations and reiterated the mutual interest to further promote the dialogue between the two states under the strategic partnership.
Galbur underlined the importance of the support provided by the Romanian government for carrying out the reform agenda and modernising Moldova.
The sides agreed to meet in the nearest future in order to continue the talks on the role of foreign ministries in extending and deepening cooperation in various sectors.
