Moldovan cabinet approves new conditions for issuing town-planning certificate

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet, at a today’s meeting, approved a regulation on issuance of the town-planning certificate for designing and the authorization for construction or dismantling for public use works of national interest, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The document approved sets clear-cut rules of authorizing works of designing or carrying out constructions of public use of national interest and will allow avoiding doubling the placement of objects on the same area.
Works of rescuing and protection of cultural, artistic and historical values, works of reconstructing urban centres, as well as dwelling and industrial areas are included in the list of works of designing or carrying out constructions of public use of national interest. Also, there are works for preparing lands for construction of dwellings from the state fund, as well as for buildings from the education and health systems.
Thus, to get the town-planning certificate, in case of interventions to monuments of history, art and architecture, beneficiaries are to present the sketch of the project, approved by the chief architect of the administrative and territorial unit and by the National Council of Historical Monuments. At the same time, to get a construction authorization, a string of documents are to be submitted, among which: the plan of carrying out works and approvals by the concerned authorities, including the ones issued by the local public authorities on the territory of which the building will be placed.
The town-planning certificate and the authorization for construction or dismantling for works of public use of national interest will be issued by the Regional Development and Constructions Ministry.
