Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon conveyed a congratulatory message on the Day of Diplomat, the presidential press service has reported.

The message reads:

“Dear members of the diplomatic service,

I congratulate you on Day of Diplomat. My thoughts of deep gratitude are turning to the diplomatic service veterans, those who have underpinned the creation of the ministry.

I am confident each of you is aware of high degree of responsibility the profession involves, of need to work with full commitment and stringency to fulfill your duty with honor.

At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank you for your daily work, which is quite important and far from simple.

Being based on success, active collaboration with foreign partners in the bilateral and multilateral formats, for resolving political and diplomatic conflicts and current crises, including for creating a broad anti-terrorist front, remains one of the priorities of the Moldovan leadership.

We recognize that the state has an obligation to operatively settle more problems faced by the ministry’s employees and service, especially, those related to social protection, providing the missions with performing information equipment and improve the training of specialists.

In this context, I want to assure you of my full support further, urging you to promote in future Moldova’s foreign policy in partnership with other countries and regional, European and international organizations.

Along with wishes of good health to you and your families, I wish you new achievements in strengthening the authority and influence of Moldova.”
