Allowances for young teachers to increase by fifty per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ – The unique allowances for young specialists, graduates of higher teaching education enrolled in educational institutions will be increased from 30 to 45 thousand lei and for young specialists, graduates of post-secondary educational institutions, from 24 to 36 lei, according to a decision approved in today meeting of the Government. About 1,300 young professionals will have to get this allowance.

The allowances will benefit young professionals working in educational institutions, regardless of their subordination, given that currently these institutions are subordinated to various ministries.

The State Budget Law for 2017 provides funds amounting to 22.8 million lei for paying allowances and reimbursement of rental housing, consumption of heat and electricity young professionals who work according to the apportionment, in educational institutions.
