Document on setting up centre for reform implementation to be published on 20 January

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/- The document on creation of Centre for Reform Implementation will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 20 January.
Under the document, the institution is entitled to ensure efficient implementation and coordination of reforms at governmental level by creating a modern and effective management system. At the same time, the new entity will assess the level of implementing reforms by public authorities and, if needed, will intervene with systemic approach to overcome issues.
Also, the centre will cooperate with international institutions in order to take over and transpose in the country the best practices of managing and drawing foreign assistance. Such entities were created in several countries, including Romania, Ukraine, Albania, Serbia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Financial means for the centre’s activity will be earmarked from subsidies of state budget and assistance provided by donor institutions. However, financial means for elaborating and implementing reforms are scheduled for 2017 in the state budget.
The new institution was set up to ensure a better implementation of goals of the activity programme of government for 2016-2018 and strategy on public administration reform for 2016-2020.
