More persons submit files for office of director of Moldovan Energy Regulatory Agency's administrative board

Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances has ended the reception of files for a contest on selecting candidates for the office of director of the National Energy Regulatory Agency’s (ANRE) administrative board, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Twelve persons have submitted files to the contest. It is about the following candidates: Ion Matei, Mihail Cernei, Alexandru Lupan, Iurie Ursu, Vasile Daud, Ruslan Surugiu, Sergiu Ungureanu, Tudor Copaci, Adrian Cazacu, Anatolie Cainareanu, Victor Parlicov, Dorin Dusciac.
According to the regulation on the way the public contest for selecting candidates for the post of director of ANRE’s administrative board is organized and carried out, the Commission is to check the files of the candidates during five days and to admit only candidates who have sent complete files. Subsequently, the decision of the Commission on the candidates admitted to the contest, the candidates’ CVs and the schedule of interviews will placed on the parliament’s webpage.
“The Commission will hold a meeting on 1 February, in order to consider the candidates’ eligibility. The Commission members will assess the candidates’ files, to establish whether they meet the basic requirements. After the candidates are heard, the Commission will select the person who got the highest evaluation score and will propose him/her to the parliament speaker,” the head of the commission for economy, budget and finances, Stefan Creanga, said.
The contest files were submitted on 2-20 January 2017. The contest was announced on 21 December 2016, when the announcement on holding the contest and the regulation was approved and published on the parliament’s site, under the Commission’s decision.
