Moldovan president's political adviser resigns

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/- Former MP Ion Ceban resigned from the office of political adviser and spokesman of president, according to a presidential decree which will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 27 January.
Ceban noted “he will come shortly with details on the reasons of his resignation.”
Presidential adviser on legal and institutional relations Maxim Lebedinschi said “Ion Ceban had submitted an application for personal reasons.”
Resignation was accepted on 25 January.
Ion Ceban served as MP in 2011-2015. Since 2015 he worked as a counsellor in the Chisinau municipal council, being the leader of the Socialists faction. On 26 December 2016, he was appointed as political adviser and spokesman of president Igor Dodon.
