Three hundred fifty economic agents to join “Made in Moldova” exhibition

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Octavian Calmic, Minister of Economy, discussed today with the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Moldova some aspects of organization and development, on 01 – 05 February 2017, the XVIth edition of the National Exposition ”Fabricat in Moldova” (Made in Moldova), at the International Centre of Exhibitions (CIE) ”Moldexpo”.
According to the Ministry of Economy’s press service, during the dialogue, Sergiu Harea, the CCI Chairman mentioned that at the edition of 2017, kept under the slogan “Throughout quality to competiveness”, that there will participate more than 350 economic agents from Moldova, which work within food industry, light industry, furniture manufacturing, wine making and other fields. In the context, the same source specified that there would be exhibited also the collective stands from 15 districts of Moldova, Gagauzia and Transnistrian region at the exhibition.
The Chairman of CCI also informed that apart from the economic agents and state institutions which support to businessmen in promoting goods in Moldova or abroad (MIEPO ODSME, AIP, CNAS, NEA, etc.), for the first time at this year edition, there will take part with a representative stand of the Association of light industry producers. Also, following the participation of companies from Moldova in November 2016 at the exhibition in Iasi, Romania, at "Made in Moldova" exhibition will be presented products of Romanian companies, under the slogan "Made in Iasi".
At his part, Deputy Prime Minister Octavian Calmic emphasized that "Made in Moldova", held under the patronage of the Government of Moldova represented one of the most important events of its kind in Moldova. "Being organized early this year, the exhibition "Made in Moldova" is a very good platform for domestic producers to adjust their production plans and business development for the whole year, to establish new contacts for cooperation and partnership, etc." said the minister of economy.
The agenda of the exhibition also includes an wide business programme, implying setting of four business forums – Moldovan – Russian, Moldovan – Romanian, Moldovan – Belarusian and Moldovan – Austrian, as well as 7 seminars and two workshops with participation of business representatives, as from Moldova so from abroad.
The national exhibition ”Fabricat in Moldova” (Made in Moldova) is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the patronage of the Government in order to support local entrepreneurs, promote products which are competitive on domestic and foreign markets, attract investment and enhance public-private dialogue.
