Moldovan foreign ministry condemns terrorist attack in Quebec

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) strongly condemns the terrorist attack on 29 January 2017 held at the Islamic Cultural Centre in Quebec City, Canada, resulted in at least 6 dead and 8 injured, the MAEIE’s information and media relations service has reported.

Such deplorable acts of violence deserve to be fought at all costs.

The ministry expresses its solidarity with Canadian authorities, deep regret for loss of human lives, compassion to grieving families and speedy recovery to victims affected by this armed attack.

The ministry reiterates Moldova’s firm commitment to combat all forms of terrorism and reaffirms the need to join and enhance international efforts to prevent them.
