Sixteenth issue of Made in Moldova exhibition to include vast business programme

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - A vast business programme will take place within the 16th issue of the “Fabricat in Moldova” (Made in Moldova) national exhibition, due to be staged at the Moldexpo Centre on 1-5 February.
In the context, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, told a today’s news conference that four business forums would be held on this period: Moldova-Romania, Moldova-Russia, Moldova-Belarus and Moldova-Austria.
Also, a National Conference will be organized in the Greening Economies in the European Union’s Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP GREEN) programme and roundtable and seminars will take place.
“Made in Moldova is an event with which Moldova’s exhibition programme begins and this exhibition is aimed at backing Moldovan producers, promoting competitive goods on the domestic and foreign markets, wooing investments and boosting the public-private dialogue,” Sergiu Harea said.
The CCI head also said that 15 collective stands of 13 districts, as well as of the Gagauz Autonomous Territorial Unit and the Transnistrian region will be presented at this year issue of the exhibition.
For the first time ever, joint ventures, members of the Moldovan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, firms of Romania will display their products with the title “Fabricat in Iasi” (Made in Iasi). The event Made in Iasi represents a novelty and is held as a result of participation of enterprises from Moldova in the Made in Moldova exhibition, staged in Iasi in last November.
The 16th issue of the Made in Moldova national exhibition will bring together more than 350 economic agents from diverse branches of the national economy, including the food industry, vine and wine branch, furniture industry, light industry, etc., as well as scientific research institutions and popular craftsmen. Delegations of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Austria, Belarus, Romania, Russia and Hungary will visit the exhibition.
