Moldovan government adopts bilateral commerce agreement with Belarus

Chisinau, 01 February /MOLDPRES/ – The Cabinet of Ministers approved today the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on facilitating mutual commerce system. The document provides the pre-requisites for the development of bilateral dialogue and will have a positive impact on boosting trade balance, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The Agreement provides the intensification of cooperation between the customs authorities of Moldova and Belarus, in order to simplify customs procedures, increase the efficiency of customs control, customs clearance time reduction and border crossings. Similarly, the new act also regulates the manner of information exchange on the movement of goods and means of transport.
The Moldovan – Belorussian Agreement on the facilitation of mutual trade was signed in Chisinau at the end of 2016.
