More air flights retained, canceled due to fog

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/- More air flights were today retained and canceled due to dense fog left on the Chisinau International Airport.

According to the airport’s information service, due to bad weather conditions, the flights to Bucharest and Istanbul have been canceled and to Moscow retained.

At the same time, there are delays of several hours to flights landing in Bucharest and Moscow.

The Air Moldova company representatives noted that today at 07:00 the flight to Bucharest was canceled, and other changes are not expected during the day. However, the same sources pointed out that no flight was redirected.

The State Hydrometeorological Service issued yellow code of fog for the entire country today. According to meteorologists, the fog will continue all day, and the visibility will be up to 200 meters.
