Moldovan president leaves for Brussels on official visit

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/ – President, Igor Dodon, left for Brussels today on a three – day official visit, where he has scheduled a number of meetings with more high ranked European officials.
The delegation accompanying the President include: deputy Minister of foreign and European integration Daniela Morari, parliament member (PM) Andrei Neguta, Member of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration, presidential adviser on reintegration Vasilii Sova, etc.
Ion Ceban, the head of state’s spokesman, announced that Igor Dodon would have meetings with European Council President Donald Tusk, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Vice – President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, European Commission President Jean – Claude Junker and the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
The head of state said earlier that during the visit there followed to be discussed the topics on "bilateral relations, implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU and deficiencies that became apparent after two years of implementation".
The first official visit of the President, Igor Dodon, was made to the Russian Federation, where he met with several senior officials.
