Moldovan consulate opened in Sweden

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- The headquarters of Moldovan Consulate in Gothenburg, Sweden, with consular area in Skane, Halland and Vastra Gotaland, was inaugurated on 8 February 2017, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The event was made official by Secretary General of Foreign and European Integration Ministry Anatol Vangheli, Moldovan Ambassador to Sweden Veaceslav Dobinda and business representatives.
Vangheli said that opening of the Consulate had been a priority of the ministry, which would help improve bilateral relations, especially, economic ties, consolidate inter-cultural contacts and promote cooperation in various areas between Moldova and Sweden.
For his part, Honorary Consul Robert Blomberg thanked for the trust and set the priorities of the consulate, including providing assistance necessary for Moldovans, strengthening bilateral relations at different levels, as well as developing trade relations focused on agri-food sector.
The Consulate is the only Moldovan Consulate in Sweden.
