Moldovan foreign ministry condemns launch of ballistic missile by North Korea

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova strongly condemns the new launch of a ballistic missile conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on 12 February 2017, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
Continuation of such actions by the North Koreans authorities constitutes a violation of several UN Security Council, including the Resolution 2321 adopted in November 2016.
Republic of Moldova fully shares the deep concerns of the international community that these actions are destabilizing the security situation in the Korean peninsula and adjacent regions and urges the authorities in Pyongyang to renounce the nuclear weapons policy and to re-engage in a credible political dialogue with the international community, including within the six-party format.
