Moldovan executive to hold more commemorative events on Dniester conflict

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ – The Cabinet of Ministers approved in its meeting today, plan events dedicated to commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the beginning of combat actions to safeguard the integrity and independence of Moldova (1991 – 1992), the government's communication and protocol department has informed.
Among the most important actions include Remembrance march, which will end with a rally of remembrance and laying flowers at monument "Mother in sorrow" at the Memorial Complex "Eternity". The event will take place on 02 March 2017 in Chisinau.
Also, in many places commemorative plaques will be installed and streets will be renamed in memory of fallen heroes. The invalids and families of deceased participants in military actions will get assistance and veterans and disabled will benefit of healthcare, too.
A special commission, which composition was approved today by the Executive, will be responsible for organizing events.
