Moldovan government approves procedure of placing in customs import regime, registration of vehicles from left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved a government decision on the enforcement of the provisions of article 9 of the Law No 280 from 16 December 2016 for the amendment and completion of legislative acts, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

The concerned normative act regulates the procedure of placement in import customs regime and registration at subdivisions of the state enterprise CRIS REGISTRU of the vehicles with matriculation plates issued in the administrative and territorial units from the left bank of Dniester and Bender city.  

The persons who owned or used the aforementioned transport means till 1 November 2016 and who pay an excise duty worth 30 per cent of the excise duty quota, established for 2016, fall under the provisions of this government decision.   

For the customs clearance of the concerned vehicles, the applicant should fill in a customs declaration and declaration on one’s own responsibility on the truthfulness of the information contained in the confirmative documents, annexed to the declaration, and at the registration stage, a customs certificate is added to the aforementioned sets of documents.
