Moldovan foreign minister to participate at Munich Security Conference

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will attend the work of the 53rd edition of Munich Security Conference on 17 – 19 February, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The conference will be taken into debate the most pressing issues on the international agenda, particularly regarding the crisis of liberal democracy and challenges to the international order, European security, defence policy and transatlantic relations, regional crises, challenges posed by radical and extremist movements, combating terrorism and cyber crimes, manipulating information.
At this conference, which has become one of the most important platform for discussions on international security policy, there will participate around 500 senior leaders and representatives from over 70 countries.
Within the Munich forum, Moldovan diplomat will have a number of meetings with his counterparts and other heads of delegations.
