Moldovan deputy premier meets Commissioner for European neighbourhood policy

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy Promoting, where they discussed the reforms, implementation of Association Agreement Moldova – European Union and enlargement of negotiations which took place in the margins of the Munich Security Conference, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

Andrei Galbur informed his interlocutor about the progress in implementation of Association Agreement provisions and objectives for 2017.

Commissioner Johannes Hahn welcomed the commitment of authorities to reforms and advocated an irreversible character in their promotion. In his view, an important platform for discussions on enhancing cooperation with Moldova will be represented by the Association Council meeting Moldova – European Union that will take place on 31 March 2017, in Brussels.
