Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - The period of use of training vehicles at the Moldovan driving training centres will be extended by five years, according to a cabinet decision due to be published in the 24 February issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova.
The document has earlier seen that, starting from 1 January 2017, the vehicles of the categories BE, C, CE, C1, C1E, D, DE, D1 and D1E , which do not meet the technical criteria, will not be allowed for use in the training process.
At the same time, according to the new amendments, the period of exploitation of the aforementioned training vehicles was extended by five years till 1 January 2022.
According to the project’s information note, the goal of the amendment is to ensure the training process at the country’s driving training centres, because, given the precarious financial situation of the institutions, all training vehicles could not be purchased in the short about two-year-long period.
