Moldovan deputy premier meets U.S. ambassador

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today received Ambassador of the United States to Moldova, His Excellency James Pettit, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The officials exchanged opinions on the developments in the Transnistrian file, referring to the most important subjects on the agenda of the negotiations and prospects for their settlement.
The sides agreed on the need to maintain a constructive dialogue, focused on aspects of common interest and multidimensional support of the Transnistrian settlement process.
