Moldovan foreign minister receives Estonian counterpart

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser, on an official visit to Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
At the meeting, the sides confirmed mutual willingness to further promote assistance projects under way in Moldova in important sectors, such as the electronic governance, strategic communication, transfer of experience in the health system, rural development, etc.
The two ministers exchanged opinions on the strategic development of the Eastern Partnership, in the offing of the organization’s Summit, due in next November, and brought for discussion the stage of implementation of Moldova’s reforms agenda. The Estonian minister, on this occasion, reiterated the support provided by his country to the European integration of Moldova.
The visit to the Estonian foreign minister takes place at an invitation by Foreign Minister Andrei Galbur, including in the context of Estonia taking over the European Union’s Council in the second half of 2017.
The Estonian official’s agenda also includes meetings with President Igor Dodon, Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
