Moldovan foreign minister to pay official visit to Israel

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Andrei Galbur will pay from 28 February till 01 March 2017 an official visit to Israel. The visit is related to marking the anniversary of 25 years of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Israel, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the visit, the Minister will meet with Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and President Kneset (Israeli Parliament), Yuli Edelstein.
Also, Andrei Galbur will meet Vice President of Kneset and Co-chairman of inter-parliamentary friendship group Moldova – Israel, Tali Ploskov, Minister of Absorption and Immigration Sofa Landver and Defence Minister Avigdor Liberman.
During the talks the sides will exchange views on the current stage of the Moldovan – Israeli relations and prospects of their development.
The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Israel were established on 22 June 1992.
