Romania disburses second installment of 150-million euro- loan for Moldova

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/- On 27 February 2017, under the agreement on refundable financial assistance between Moldova and Romania, ratified by the parliament on 29 October 2015 and declared actually on 16 May 2016, the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance released the second installment of the agreement worth 50 million euros equivalent to 1,063.0 million lei, the Finance Ministry of Chisinau announced today.

The means were included in the currency account of the Finance Ministry of Moldova opened in the National Bank of Moldova.

The refundable financial assistance will be used to finance spending programs seen in the State Budget Law for 2017.

The first installment of the loan seen in the agreement amounting to 60 million euros was granted on 24 August 2016.
