Disabled people, families of participants dead in armed conflict on Dniestre to get assistance

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/- More than 450 people with disabilities and families of participants dead in the armed conflict on the Dniestre will get assistance amounting to 1,000 lei.
According to the Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry’s press service, the action is carried out in the context of the commemorating day of combat actions to defending Moldova’s integrity and independence. The money will be received through local funds for people social support.
Beneficiaries of assistance from Chisinau will get the money at the Moldindconbank branches, and those from the country at Moldovan Post Office.
According to the Defence Ministry, over 30,000 people participated in the armed conflict on the Dniestre. 300 soldiers and civilians died and 3,500 were injured.
