Moldovan foreign minister commemorates Holocaust victims

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today visited the Yad Vashem official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust from Jerusalem, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

On this occasion, Minister Andrei Galbur participated in a ceremony dedicated to commemorating the tragic events in the Hall of Names, where he laid a floral wreath.

Also, Andrei Galbur made a guided tour of the museum, visiting the Children’s Memorial – a space dedicated to the Jewish children murdered in the Holocaust. Here, the minister signed in the book for guests, as a token of sympathy and memory of the sufferings experienced by ethnic Jews for the present and next generations.
