Moldovan foreign minister meets Israeli parliament officials

Chisinau, 01 March /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration met today with representatives of Knesset during his official visit to Israel, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
As such, minister Galbur held separate talks with President of Knesset, Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and with Knesset Vice President and Co-President of Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group Moldova – Israel, Tali Ploskov.
During the meetings, sides welcomed the current state of bilateral relations and cooperation in parliamentary diplomacy, stressing that the organization of the Legislatures of Moldova and Israel, groups of friendship and the desire to strengthen parliamentary ties would intensify political dialogue.
Andrei Galbur appreciated in talks with Israeli officials the results of bilateral cooperation in various fields, such as increasing the number of tourists from the Republic of Moldova by 57 per cent in recent years, after the abolition of visa regime with Israel, or to take up work in Moldovan nationals legally in Israel after signing a bilateral agreement on temporary employment of workers in Moldova.
The visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in Israel is dedicated to the anniversary of the first quarter century since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations.
