Moldovan deputy foreign minister meets Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on combating anti-semitism

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii met today with the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on combating anti-Semitism Andrew Baker, who is paying a working visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.
The two officials discussed the latest deliverables of the Republic of Moldova in the field of education, research and commemoration of the victims of Holocaust. Deputy Minister Darii informed about the recent adoption of the Action Plan on the Implementation of the Republic of Moldova’s Parliament Declaration on the acceptance of the Final Report of the International Commission on the Holocaust, chaired by Elie Wiesel, extending gratitude to the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) for the rendered support in drafting the Action Plan.
Rabbi Baker appreciated the important achievements of the Republic of Moldova in the last years in the field of combating anti-Semitism and Holocaust remembrance, confirming his own and ODIHR’s availability in supporting our country in this area.
