Moldovan deputy premier attends commemoration of servicemen dead in Transnistrian war

Chisinau, 02 March /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan, together with other senior officials, took part today at the ceremony of commemoration the 25 years of the beginning of the battle actions for independence and defending territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, according to the office of reintegration polices.
The event began in the morning with laying flowers at the monument to Stephen the Great and continued with a march of memory to Monument "Mother in Grief" where were held speeches and was retained the minute of silence in memory of servicemen dead for defending the motherland.
The officials, who attended the meeting organized on this occasion, brought tribute to heroes who sacrificed their lives in the war of independence and displayed courage and heroism, defending freedom, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
In the context of the main commemorative events, it was noted that reintegration was one of the priorities of the government base and it would act firmly in continuation to identify a viable solution to the Transnistrian problem.
