Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/- The budget of 112 single national emergency service for 2017 was published today in the Official Journal of Moldova.
The document sees incomes and expenses amounting to 50 million lei.
According to budget, about 7.6 million lei will be earmarked for staff expenses, over 37.5 million lei is meant for capital expenses and around 4.7 million lei – current expenditure. At the same time, upon approval, the budget may be amended in terms of expenditure.
Creation of the service will require investments worth 5.9 million euros from the state budget, money earmarked for equipment, software, offices and arrangement. Using single European number will allow proper and efficient organization of the emergency services throughout the country in accordance with EU requirements. Currently, the service is used in all EU member states.
According to the action plan on implementing the 112 single national emergency service, system testing will take place by late 2017, and commissioning is due in the third quarter of 2018.
