Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) on 10 March will organize public hearings on demands for adjusting the tariffs for the thermal energy supplied to consumers, received from the stock companies Termoelectrica and CET Nord (North thermal electric power station), and submitted to ANRE on 7 March.
Decision-makers of the enterprises demanding the adjusting, representatives of public institutions and interested non-governmental organizations, experts in the energy sector, journalists, as well as other people interested in this subject are invited to the public hearings.
Termoelectrica demands a six-per cent rise in the thermal energy delivered to consumers. This enterprise reasons the request for increase of the tariff from 1,068.22 lei to 1,132.20 lei for one Gcal by the technical indicators included in the production plan for this year, updated forecast of the macroeconomic indexes in 2017-2019, indexes of retail prices, the dollar’s exchange rate and rise in the tariffs for electric energy, demanded by Gas Natural Fenosa.
Under the project, presented by CET Nord, the enterprise asks for a 16-per cent increase of the tariff for thermal energy supplied to consumers, up to 1,221 lei for one Gcal.
