Moldovan foreign minister to visit Finland

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur will pay a working visit to Finland on 13-14 March, following an invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Timo Soini. The visit is occasioned by the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Finland, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The official will have a lot of meetings with Deputy Speaker of Finland Mauri Pekkarinen and State Secretary for European Affairs Jori Arvonen. Also, Galbur will hold a lecture at the Finnish Centre for East European Studies of the Aleksanteri Institute in Helsinki.
The officials will exchange opinions about the topical issue on the agenda of Moldovan-Finnish bilateral relations and development opportunities, as well as European reform agenda of the country.
Note: Diplomatic relations between Moldova and Finland were established on 26 February 1992.
