Slovakian company to back project om promotion of ecologically intensive agriculture in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Rokosan company from Slovakia will back a project on the promotion of ecological farming by use of mineral fertilizers, got as a result of the processing of secondary waste of animal origin.
This was the focus of a today’s international conference on the processing of secondary waste of animal origin in proper products for the ecologically intensive agriculture. The event was organized by the Embassy of Slovakia in Chisinau and held at the University of Moldova’s Academy of Sciences.
Attending the conference were Deputy Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Ion Parea, Slovakian Ambassador to Moldova Robert Kirnag, scientists, representatives of private companies from the two countries.
In his speech, Deputy Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Ion Parea stressed the need to promote the ecological farming, including by the creation of an enterprise due to have a capacity of processing 15,000 tons of animal origin waste annually. According to the official, while in 2015, 37 economic agents were dealing with the ecological farming, presently, their number is 87.
In continuation, PhD in veterinary science, Alessandra Orcik, from Slovakia referred to her country’s experience as regards the circulation, production, processing and use of animal origin substances. At the same time, a representative of the Rokosan company, engineer Robert Visokii said that hen feathers represented a strategic material and a priceless sources of renewable resources.
According to Robert Visokii, the company’s mineral fertilizers are exported to more European countries and have lately been brought to Moldova and Ukraine too.
One of the ecologically safe products of the Rokosan company is Rokohumin, which is distributed in Moldova as well.
