Moldovan foreign minister meets Hungarian counterpart

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today had a meeting with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.    

The two foreign ministers discussed the present stage of the bilateral relations, cooperation within the international organizations and reviewed developments on the international stage and in the region.   

Also, the officials tackled concrete proposals to boost the commercial and economic cooperation, especially in such sectors as agriculture, irrigation systems, water management and pharmaceutical industry.  

The head of the Hungarian diplomacy confirmed interest in deepening the bilateral collaboration in diverse fields and welcomed a proposal to organize the next meeting of the joint commission for economic cooperation in Chisinau in the second half of 2017.

Also, within the visit to Budapest by the Moldovan foreign minister, the sides signed two legal documents: an Arrangement concluded by exchange of notes between the Moldovan Foreign and European Integration Ministry and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the exercising of a remunerated labour by the family member who have common domicile with the member of the diplomatic mission or of the consular office and an educational and scientific cooperation programme between the Moldovan Education Ministry and the Hungarian Ministry of Human Capacities for 2017-2019.
