EU publishes report on Moldova implementing Association Agenda

Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/ – The EU External Action Service and the European Commission has published today the report on Moldova’s implementation of the Association Agenda in the context of preparation for the Association Council of Moldova – European Union on 31 March 2017, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
This is the first document of the new generation of reports that EU is to prepare to each annual meeting of the Association Council with Moldova.
The report covers developments in Moldova for carrying out the Association Agenda in the period after the parliamentary elections of November 2014 until March 2017.
Referring to the launched reforms, restore of judiciary independence, fighting corruption, ensuring efficient public administration and macro-economic stability, the report also pointed to issues that in EU's vision needs to be streamlined.
The analysis report reveals interdependence of short and medium-term priorities identified by EU agenda and the implementation of Association Agreement, including established the National Action Plan for 2017 – 2019.
