European Commission organizes workshop on assistance in form of budgetary support in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari today participated, with a greeting speech, at a workshop organized by experts of the European Commission for civil servants of Moldova. The workshop’s goal was to inform about assistance in form of direct budgetary support, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

In the introductory part, Daniela Morari stressed gratitude for the constant support showed by the European Union for Moldova. She voiced hope that, next summer, the two sides would finish the domestic procedures for the disbursement of installments of macro-financial assistance.

Participants in the meeting said that Moldova had been benefiting from seven projects on budgetary support since 2007 till present. Even if the action plan for 2017 does not see such a form of assistance on behalf of the European Union, the workshop organized serves as a friendly platform to enhance the institutional capacities, in order to benefit from budgetary support in 2018.
