Moldovan deputy premier attends strategic session in USA

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to Washington, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur was a guest of strategic session on cooperation priorities Moldova-USA, organized by the Atlantic Council centre. The event brought together representatives of the US Administration and Congress, academic environment and other experts from the federal capital, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

Galbur presented achievements recorded by the Moldovan government in implementation of main reforms, including in judiciary sector, strengthening financial-banking sector, central public administration reform, fight against corruption and efforts for the Transnistrian conflict settlement.

For their part, the officials remarked the Moldovan authorities’ efforts in the reforms sector, and highlighted importance of maintaining commitment and sustained implementation.
