Moldovan foreign minister meets leaders of main analytical centers in Washington D.C.

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- On 20 March, on the sidelines of working visit to the USA, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had meetings with leaders of most influential analytical centers of the federal capital, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
Galbur had separate talks with President of the German Marshall Fund Karen Donfried, National Democratic Institute President Kenneth Wollack and Executive Vice President for the International Republican Institute Judy Van Rest.
The sides approached the importance of advancing the USA-Moldova Strategic Dialogue, as well as the government’s priority to ensure continuity of implementation of reforms in line with the commitments in the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.
Also, the officials tackled the importance of the civil society in ensuring the good governance. They remarked the permanent consultations of Moldovan government and parliament with civil society on the most important initiatives.
The American partners expressed support for advancing the goals through projects and discussion platform offered by GMF, NDI and IRI.
